Children at a workshop

Southbank Centre welcomes school and tour groups

Plan your group visit

Southbank Centre welcomes schools visits all year round. We have a variety of bookable workshops throughout the year, as well as regular opportunities to engage with music, literature and spoken word, dance and performance and visual arts. Alongside these we also have schools’ activities including opportunities to learn with artists, watch professional performances and develop skills and knowledge.

Please note that although belongings can be kept safe while participants are rehearsing and performing in events at Southbank Centre, we do not always have storage spaces for bags at other times. Participants are responsible for ensuring that all of their belongings are kept safe. We recommend that you only bring essential items with you.

All group leaders should carry out their own risk assessment prior to their visit although one can be obtained from our Group Line on request.

Teachers are responsible for students’ behaviour and safety at all times. At no stage can Southbank Centre assume the formal duty of care on behalf of teachers.
