The Southbank Centre touring programme takes visual and performing arts events to venues, galleries and festivals around the UK and internationally.
Southbank Centre passionately believes the arts have the power to transform lives. We also strongly feel this transformative experience should be available to all of us regardless of location. Our touring introduces work we believe in to new audiences, increases access to our offer for audiences outside London and enables venues, galleries and festivals elsewhere to present our work to their audiences.
The work Southbank Centre tours is comprised of specially selected festivals, exhibitions and performances from across all genres of the performing and visual arts, that are staged throughout the UK and the rest of the world.
More information on our current tours, including what’s currently on tour and how to book one for your venue, is available in the sections below.
Our aim for the next few years is to increase both the number and variety of the festivals and shows on tour so please do check back regularly.
Southbank Centre presents 10-12 major festivals on-site every year, ranging from Listen to the 20th Century to Alchemy. We develop festivals collaboratively and provide a platform for established and emerging artists to combine work from a range of different genres.

Learning and participation is at the heart of the festival programme, and every festival offers multi-layered opportunities for people of all ages to explore their own creativity.
We tour a range of work throughout the UK and around the world comprised mainly of Southbank Centre productions or commissions.
This activity is the result of a combination of strategic touring supported by funding and responding to requests from other organisations wishing to present our work.
The range of visual art touring activity by Southbank Centre is delivered through Hayward Touring and the Arts Council Collection.
