Corinthian Orchestra's Summer Spectacular

Part of Classical Season 2017/18

The Corinthian Chamber Orchestra return to Southbank Centre in their symphonic configuration for a spectacular evening of music by Berlioz, Strauss and Mahler's epic Symphony No.10 to mark the end of their 2017/2018 season.

Conducted by Michael Seal, the evening features Berlioz’s enigmatic Le carnival romain and Strauss’ popular Horn Concerto No.1 with the BBC Symphony’s principal horn, Martin Owen. The performance concludes with Mahler’s breathtaking Symphony No.10 (Deryck Cooke edition).
