We work with thousands of artists to take you out of the everyday, every day.
The Southbank Centre is a place where culture is made. We offer a culturally democratic and expressive space for everyone, artists and audiences, to engage in the arts. We are a venue for music, for performance, for literature, for visual arts, for dance, for comedy, for experiences and for experimentation.
Across 2022/23 we hosted over 5,400 events, of which 55% were completely free for audiences and participants to attend.
We are one of the top five most visited attractions in the UK, having welcomed 3.1 million visitors to the Southbank Centre in the last year.
And, 2022/23 also saw our schools programme engage with over 4,600 schoolchildren, in person, here at the Southbank Centre.
